Job Overview

As a Real Estate Post-Completion Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of property transactions are properly concluded after the initial sale. You will work closely with real estate agents, clients, legal professionals, and various stakeholders to manage post-sale processes, resolve any outstanding issues, and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a thorough understanding of real estate procedures, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all post-completion activities related to real estate transactions
  • Manage and track the progress of property transfers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth post-sale processes
  • Prepare and review closing documents, including deeds, transfer forms, and other legal paperwork
  • Conduct thorough checks to ensure all contractual obligations are met and all parties have fulfilled their responsibilities
  • Address and resolve any post-sale issues or discrepancies that may arise
  • Coordinate property inspections and appraisals as needed
  • Assist with the transfer of utilities, insurance, and other services to new property owners
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all post-completion activities and communications
  • Provide regular status updates to clients and internal team members
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant real estate laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of necessary reports and documentation with local authorities
  • Coordinate with financial institutions to ensure proper transfer of funds and mortgage arrangements
  • Handle any post-sale client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve post-completion processes and enhance overall client satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in real estate post-completion processes or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong understanding of property transfer procedures and documentation requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate-specific software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
