Working closely with the Finance Manager, you ll promote financial sustainability through effective financial performance management, promoting collaboration across key service areas. THE ROLE
- Provide support and financial advice to facilitate informed decision-making across the organisation
- Prepare and present financial analyses to highlight service area performance
- Supporting Budget Holders in developing and managing robust budgets
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring clarity on complex financial matters for non-financial stakeholders
- Support value-for-money reporting and identify cost-saving initiatives
- Engage in internal audit activities as required and contribute to system improvements
THE PERSON
- Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA with Management Accounts experience
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and controls
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable reports
- Highly numerate with proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills suited to varying audience levels
- A motivated self-starter who excels in a rapidly changing work environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
