This is a senior leadership role within the Europe Fleet line of Business for WEX, responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align to the company s overall objective.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Financial Planning:
- Developing long-term financial plans with dynamic and flexible models
- Asses the potential impact of strategic decisions
- Forecasting 5 year outturns
- Evaluating Financial data to identify opportunities and risks
- Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Providing insights and recommendations for decision making
- Recommending cost reduction strategies and impact this may have
- Evaluating investment opportunities
- Making recommendations on capital investment and supporting the capital planning process
- Maximise returns on investments including CAC/LTV and customer profitability
- Act as a trusted advisor providing financial insights to drive informed decision making
- Communicate financial information effectively to build trust and transparency
- Lead and develop a direct team of 3
- Set expectations to lead a high performing team that embody excellent delivery and quality
- Actively support Director of FP&A Strategy and Data and Operational directors
- Contribute to the leadership of the wider International Finance team
- Direct and Prioritise team activities in line with business priorities
Skills & Experience:
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified
- Solid experience of strategic decision making
- Can lead and influence a team of Finance professionals
- Ability and skill to analyse and provide insight on large datasets
- Strong understating of economic indicators
- Ability to break down complex problems
- Ability to think critically and develop long term strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy and precision
