We re hiring for a CNC Miller (Offline Programming) to join a cutting-edge precision engineering business based in Ashton-under-Lyne. This company has just completed a major site refurbishment and is backed by a full order book through to 2026, meaning long-term security and a top-tier working environment. If you re experienced with offline programming and looking to take the lead on complex tooling projects, this one s for you.

What s on offer

  • Up to £22 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday 38-hour week with flexible start and finish times
  • Permanent position with great long-term prospects
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

What you ll be doing as a CNC Miller (Offline Programming)

  • Programming offline using NCG Cam software
  • Operating Hurco CNC milling machinery
  • Producing precision tooling used across a range of industries
  • Following strict safety and quality standards
  • Collaborating with a small, skilled team in a modern facility

What we re looking for

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, ideally working with Hurco machines
  • Offline programming ability (experience with NCG Cam is a real bonus)
  • Strong toolmaking knowledge, with great attention to detail
  • A hands-on problem solver who can work efficiently under pressure
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-tech environment
