About the Company:Our client are a leading chemical manufacturer operating a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) site, committed to delivering high-quality products with safety and compliance at the forefront. We are seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to support the delivery of electrical, control, and instrumentation projects across our site.

Role Overview: As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will manage projects from concept to completion, ensure all activities comply with HSE regulations, and support the reliability and safety of the plant through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver EC&I projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning.

• Design and implement electrical, control, and instrumentation systems in line with site requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation, including COMAH standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve EC&I issues, improving maintenance and reliability strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and project activities.

• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to optimise plant performance.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related discipline).

• Proven experience in EC&I engineering within a COMAH, chemical, or process industry environment.

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental regulations.

• Experience managing projects from concept to completion.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
