My client, an award winning engineering design consultancy with offices in the North West and Scotland, are searching for a Head of Sustainability to join a new office in Manchester.

As a Head of Sustainability you will be required to grow, manage and develop a new team based in the north west of England.

You will be expected to manage energy and sustainability projects, develop new business opportunities and train and mentor new staff.

As a Head of Sustainability, you will have the opportunity to deliver innovative, energy-efficient projects across the UK for many engineering sectors spanning healthcare, retail, education, leisure and industrial sectors.

You will design innovative solutions helping clients with building performance, net zero carbon and climate resilience, providing sustainable solutions tailored to suit client needs.

You and your new team will be required to deliver;

-Net zero carbon strategies

-Operational energy and low and zero carbon heat solutions

-Decarbonisation

-Renewable energy projects

-Building performance and advanced simulation

-Climate resilience

-BREEAM Assessments and reports

As a Head of Sustainability you will be expected to have vast experience working for a UK based Sustainability and Energy consultancy and have experience delivering energy efficient projects for clients.

You will be expected to have experience delivering energy and BREEAM reports and have experience managing and mentoring team members.

Business development and exceptional networking capabilities are also essential for this position as you will be expected to grow the team and promote the services of the company, developing new business with new and existing clients.
