Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - £55,000+ - Manchester Shift - 4 on 4 off (4 days 4 nights) working About the company Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our industrial manufacturing client area leading business supporting the Food industry, you ll be part of a dedicated engineering team supporting planned preventative maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, installing and commissioning new machinery, and driving continuous improvement initiatives all while ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements

• A time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND)
• Previous maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes is a bonus

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding rapidly to breakdowns and diagnosing faults
• Carry out fault finding and upgrades to Allen Bradley PLCs
• Working across mechanical and electrical systems (bias considered)
• Supporting machinery upgrades and new installations
• Keeping accurate maintenance logs
• Participating in root cause analysis and ongoing improvement projects
• Providing on-call support on a rotating basis
