Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Pipefitter to work in Manchester

Job Details:

• Pay: £23.25 per hour
• Hours of Work: 7:30am 16:00pm, some Saturdays required
• Duration: Temporary (3 months, estimated to end in January 2026)
• Benefits: Weekly pay

Job Role: The Pipefitter will be working on-site at a warehouse in Trafford Park. Pipefitter duties include site measuring and the installation of 2 and 1 galvanised screwed pipework as part of a fit-out project. You ll be interpreting technical drawings and assisting other trades on-site as required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Experienced pipefitter within the commercial/building services sector
• Proven experience working with screwed pipework on similar projects
• NVQ/C&G in pipefitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline
• CCNSG/SCATS card

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• TIG pipe welding experience
• Experience of fabrication and welding work
