- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- Job Type: Permanent
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process safety management within the chemical or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, risk analysis, and process safety regulations (e.g. COMAH).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a commitment to risk reduction and operational excellence.
- Champion and support process safety initiatives across our chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Lead HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify, evaluate, and control process risks.
- Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory standards and company's global process safety protocols.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and technical services to drive continuous improvement.
- Support and lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures, training materials, and documentation to promote a robust safety culture.
