Proposals Engineer Location: North Manchester Salary: £40,000 £50,000 dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed and competitive tenders and cost estimates for M&E projects
  • Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and delivery teams
  • Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors to source and evaluate quotations
  • Ensure tenders align with client expectations, company processes, and industry standards
  • Participate in pre/post-tender meetings and site visits
  • Maintain cost databases and pricing models

What We re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A background in either Water or M&E
  • Based within a commutable distance of North Manchester
  • Commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills
  • A team player who can also work independently
