Role Overview: As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of electronic security systems across a range of customer sites. You will be a key part of the regional service team, ensuring systems remain fully operational, compliant, and customer expectations are exceeded. Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, repair and maintain CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Integrated Security Systems
  • Respond to reactive service calls and diagnose faults efficiently
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site
  • Ensure all work is carried out to NSI and manufacturer standards
  • Accurately complete service documentation and reports
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (with additional pay)
Requirements:
  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining electronic security systems
  • Good working knowledge of Intruder, CCTV (analogue and IP), and Access Control systems
  • Familiarity with leading security brands such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant industry certifications (advantageous)
