Role Overview: As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of electronic security systems across a range of customer sites. You will be a key part of the regional service team, ensuring systems remain fully operational, compliant, and customer expectations are exceeded. Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair and maintain CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Integrated Security Systems
- Respond to reactive service calls and diagnose faults efficiently
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
- Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site
- Ensure all work is carried out to NSI and manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (with additional pay)
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining electronic security systems
- Good working knowledge of Intruder, CCTV (analogue and IP), and Access Control systems
- Familiarity with leading security brands such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Relevant industry certifications (advantageous)
