Nationwide Travelling role £44,000 - £49,000 per annum plus overtimeJob Summary: The Security Tagging System Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security tagging systems across our customers retail sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain security tagging systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of security tagging systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tagging systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
  • Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in installing and maintaining security tagging systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic article surveillance (EAS) technology, including acousto-magnetic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with Sensormatic security systems is an advantage

These roles will be travelling positions and travel anywhere within the UK could be required on a regular basis.
