Role Overview: As a Senior EICA Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the integration of electrical & ICA design with other disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical aspects of engineering design, working alongside a talented team and delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of electrical and ICA designs with other engineering disciplines.
- Create and write technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports, and risk assessments.
- Produce technical diagrams, including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, and Network Infrastructure Diagrams.
- Contribute to the development of collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Pipeline & Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Participate in technical discussions, workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs.
- Liaise with Distribution Network Operators to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Attend and contribute to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Ensure quality assurance by reviewing and checking the work of others.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop their skills and identify the right resources for projects.
What We re Looking For:
- Degree-qualified Electrical Design Engineer (preferably Chartered or Incorporated with the IET).
- 5+ years of experience in wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure design.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality design outputs in line with safety, quality, and design standards.
