STS Aviation Services is hiring Technical Liaison Engineers in Manchester, United Kingdom.Hiring Note: All candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.Position Summary:STS Aviation Services (UK) is rapidly expanding its aircraft repair and modification design organization and seeking a Technical Liaison Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Design & Technical Liaison as well as STS Engineering Solutions, providing full-service support to our customers. This position presents a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and grow into a design engineer role within our Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Ownership: Manage tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of Design & Technical Liaison.
• Technical Services Support: Offer expert guidance to STS Aviation Services' Base, Line, and AOG Maintenance operations.
• OEM Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between STS Aviation Services and major aircraft manufacturers ( , Boeing, Airbus).
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a technical liaison between STS Aviation Services (UK) and STS Engineering Solutions (USA).
• 24/7 Response: Participate in our around-the-clock emergency response team, ensuring swift and effective support.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in aircraft structural repair (mechanic / technician).
• Manual Proficiency: Deep understanding of OEM maintenance manuals, particularly the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
• Detail-Oriented: Thorough and methodical approach; prioritizes safety above time or project pressures.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours to meet maintenance demands and travel globally as needed.
• Licensing & Rights:
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Must hold a valid UK driver's license.
• Security Clearance: Able to obtain airside passes for various airports and successfully complete full security vetting (SC).
