Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Location: North West Salary: 27,000 - 32,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling
• Perform cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections
• Complete TMV servicing and showerhead descaling
• Conduct mains chlorinations/injections
• Support closed system flushing, testing, and balancing (acid descale experience advantageous)
• Undertake cooling tower and steam boiler cleaning/testing (desirable but not essential)
• Perform dead leg removals, pipework modifications (plastic, copper, and steel)
• Carry out tank replacements, expansion vessel works, and other remedial plumbing tasks
• Hold NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum qualification)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene or Plumbing role
• Sound knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence (clean)
• Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: 27,000 - 32,000 (DOE)
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
