Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Welder to join our team in Salford. The ideal candidate will be experienced in various welding techniques, possess a keen attention to detail, and demonstrate a passion for producing high-quality work. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to the fabrication process, and collaborate with a skilled team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using appropriate techniques and equipment to join metal components accurately.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the proper alignment and positioning of welded parts.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify quality and integrity, making adjustments as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong practical skills in using welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, torches, and grinders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding (e.g., Welding Certification, NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
