Salary: Up to 45,000

As the Customs Special Procedures Lead, you will play a critical part in ensuring that the company's customs operations align with HMRC regulations and compliance standards. Your previous experience in a customs environment will be invaluable as you lead and oversee special customs procedures, including outward processing, customs warehousing, inward processing, and bill of discharges.

Customs Special Procedures Lead Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customs compliance processes

• Provide expert advice on HMRC regulations and customs requirements

• Collaborate with various departments to promote understanding and adherence to customs procedures

• Lead audits and ensure regulatory requirements are upheld

About You

You will have a solid background in customs operations, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulations within the field. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of customs processes in a dynamic environment. Holding, or studying towards, a professional qualification in Customs Compliance or related field is preferred.
