The role focuses on non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards.Who This Job Would Suit: This position would suit a detail-oriented professional with experience in non-destructive testing within manufacturing or engineering environments. • Perform various non-destructive tests predominantly focused on MT, PT, & VT techniques.
• Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment and ensure its correct operation.
• Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions to complete testing accurately.
• Document reports and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance with company processes.

Requirements:

• PCN Level 2 in Magnetic Particle inspection (MT/MPI), Penetrant Testing (PT, LPI, DPI) and Visual Testing (VT).
• Proven experience in an NDT / NDE role
• Ability to interpret specifications & engineering drawings
• Ability to use Quality instruments; weld gauges, micrometres, steel ruler, etc.
