Are you ready to step into a high-impact role where your technical expertise and leadership will shape the future of global IT services? We're seeking an IT Lead to oversee our clients enterprise infrastructure and cloud services while leading service excellence across a dynamic, growing organisation.

What You ll Be Doing:

As their IT Lead, you'll be both a technical authority and a hands-on leader. You ll manage hybrid infrastructure environments, lead cloud transformation initiatives (Azure focus), and provide mentorship to IT support teams globally. This is a key role in driving operational maturity and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor server systems, networks, and cloud environments (Azure focus)
  • Lead and mentor the IT Service Desk team, including escalations and cross-department coordination
  • Configure and maintain software, hardware, cloud services, and security policies (AD, Group Policy, MFA, Conditional Access)
  • Drive improvements in service delivery, system performance, and security compliance (NIST, Cyber Essentials)
  • Support strategic IT projects and platform upgrades (including CI/CD pipelines and Azure maturity planning
  • Manage service requests and incidents via Cherwell (or similar ITSM platforms)
  • Foster continuous improvement in documentation, change control, and knowledge management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors across regions to deliver seamless support

What We re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure/system administration roles
  • Proven leadership or mentorship experience within IT Ops or Service Desk environments
  • Advanced skills in Windows Server, AD, GPO, VMware/Hyper-V, firewalls (FortiGate/WatchGuard)
  • Strong Azure experience especially AVD, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, MFA, and Conditional Access
  • Excellent understanding of ITSM processes, change control, and compliance (ITIL/NIST/ISO frameworks)
  • Experience with monitoring tools, backup platforms (Veeam/WSUS), and endpoint protection
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-region environment with occasional travel
  • Experience with Tableau, CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow or Cherwell, and process automation desirable
