About the Role

As part of the firm's expanding Court of Protection department, this role presents a chance to develop your expertise in a prestigious legal setting while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. You will work closely with individuals, families, and carers, offering practical and financial assistance, including:

• Managing day-to-day finances and bill payments
• Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
• Coordinating purchases, including vehicles and essential expenditures
• Conducting annual home visits to provide ongoing client support

The Candidate

The successful candidate will either have prior experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal or a professional background in financial management within a fast-paced environment. Essential skills include:

• Strong financial judgment including budget management and payment processing.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Exceptional communication skills, with a confident telephone manner
• Negotiation abilities, ensuring financial arrangements align with clients' needs
• Proficiency in IT, particularly case management systems
