If you ve got a solid understanding of solicitors accounts rules, a sharp eye for figures, and you love making everything balance just right we want to hear from you! What you ll be doing: Processing daily banking and reconciling client and office accounts Managing payments, receipts, transfers and legal aid billing Handling disbursements, expenses, and general ledger entries Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) accounts rules Producing financial reports as required by management Working closely with fee earners and support staff to maintain financial accuracy and compliance Liaising with accountants and auditors when needed What we re looking for: Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role (essential) Solid knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules A methodical, accurate and discreet approach to work Strong IT skills especially Excel and legal accounting software (Leap, Quill, etc.) Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure A trustworthy team player who can work independently when needed What you ll get: A permanent full-time position with a supportive, long-standing legal practice Competitive salary based on experience A warm, friendly office environment (no soulless law factory vibes here!)
