They have a proud heritage spanning over 100 years Renowned for continuous innovation and growth, this organisation offers exciting career opportunities for skilled professionals.We are currently supporting their recruitment campaign for Assembly Operatives / Technicians to join their Service and Production teamsAs an Assembly Operative, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including: Mechanical and electrical sub-assembly to precise specifications Component fitting and mounting Bench work and electrical function testing In-process inspections using technical drawings and visual aids Use of hand tools such as Verniers, torque wrenches, and Cleco systems Rotation across workstations with varying complexity Interpretation of industrial-standard drawings and work instructions Fault investigation and repair Report writing and documentation Occasional site interventions (with a long-term vision for field support) Working independently or as part of a small teamTo be successful in this role, you should demonstrate: Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Experience in high-volume assembly environments Proficiency with hand tools and understanding of tool maintenance Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions A proactive approach and strong work ethic Commitment to quality and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWhat's on Offer: Competitive hourly rate of 13.14 Temp to Perm Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30, Friday 07:00 - 13:00 Free on-site parking Performance-based bonuses upon becoming permanentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong reputation in the industry.
