Description
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers to secure long-term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to meet production requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyse market trends to identify potential opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all procurement activities.
- Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or material quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Previous experience in procurement within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
