Cell Leader Lead, Innovate, Inspire

What You ll Do:

• Leadership: Guide and inspire a team of 6 15 operators, ensuring daily production runs smoothly. Lead team meetings, coordinate plans, and keep things on track.
• Production Excellence: Manage materials, workflows, and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols. You'll oversee performance metrics and share insights during key meetings.
• Team Development: Monitor attendance, performance, and training needs. Collaborate with the training officer to ensure your team is skilled, engaged, and set up for success.
• Problem Solving: Address day-to-day issues, escalate when necessary, and ensure machine downtime is minimised with prompt maintenance coordination.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives to improve processes, maintain performance boards, and drive progress within your cell.

What We re Looking For:

• Experience: A background in manufacturing and leadership experience (not necessarily in a manufacturing environment).
• Skills: A natural leader who earns respect through organisation and clear communication. Comfortable using IT systems for reporting and production tracking.
• Personality: Energetic, resourceful, and calm under pressure. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for teamwork and collaboration.
• Mindset: Excited about the future of manufacturing, including automation and robotics.

Shift Details:

• Early Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM (Mon Fri) or
• Day Shift: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM with an early finish on Fridays.
• Late Shift: 1:45 PM 9:45 PM (Mon Thu), with a 7:30 PM finish on Fridays.
• Shift Allowance: 1.25x hourly rate for late shifts.
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x your hourly rate, frequently available.
