Procurement Manager role for a Growing Consumer Brand, suitable for someone with food/ FMCG experience who is looking to take ownership of the raw material and packaging category.

Client Details

Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a Growing FMCG Business, as they look to recruit a Procurement Manager to oversee the direct and indirect spend categories, managing a team and looking to support the business as they look to double turnover in the next 5 years.

Description

The role of Procurement Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the procurement spend for business, including raw materials, packaging and 3rd party manufacturing
  • Manage the procurement team, looking to introduce and develop better sourcing strategies and procurement practises across the business
  • Working cross-functionally & externally with suppliers to identify and deliver continuous efficiency and/or cost improvement opportunities
  • Leading a team to deliver long-term strategies to ensure value, quality & minimise risk
  • Supplier Management, including introduction of additional suppliers
  • Manage complex supplier relationships and own regular commercial meetings, to ensure engagement, alignment and clear communication

Profile

Successful candidates will possess:

  • An experienced senior-level procurement expert, used to managing multiple categories
  • Exceptional stakeholder management & alignment abilities
  • Resilient, able to work at pace
  • Experience working in FMGC or manufacturing
  • Experience working with packaging procurement at some level
  • Experience developing & negotiating supplier contracts
  • Organised with a very keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Great project management

Job Offer

The role if offering:

  • 50-70k depending upon experience
  • Bonus, Pens, 25days+BH
  • Flexibility to WFH, circa. 3 onsite, 2 offsite
