Team Leader - Manufacturing - Ashton Under Lyne

Hours: Full time, permanent

Salary - Competitive

An opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturing Company running your own Production Department while working alongside the team within a busy light manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading, motivating and overseeing a team of production operatives.
  • Stock management, forecasting and re-ordering.
  • Supporting and training operatives and maintaining records.
  • Driving standards, improving quality controls and meeting deadlines.
  • Health & Safety departmental responsibility
  • Operating and managing the maintenance of a range of machines.

Ideal skills/experience:

  • Experience within a light manufacturing environment.
  • Wood cutting/manufacturing experience ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Highly organised with strong administration and communication skills.
  • Interest in process improvement and increasing performance.
  • Hardworking and motivated, happy to lead by example.
