About the Role - Quality Technician As a Quality Technician, you'll play a vital part in supporting the Technical team to ensure that products are delivered to the highest standards. You'll be directly involved in quality inspection and assurance of specialist engineered products, helping to maintain excellence and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities as a Quality Technician will include:

  • Carrying out final inspections of finished parts and assemblies.
  • Performing in-process inspections, including subcontract processes.
  • Analysing and interpreting data to generate certification documents.
  • Liaising with Production, Customer Services, and Commercial teams.
  • Completing QA documentation (control plans, inspection plans, test reports).
  • Conducting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for aerospace projects.
  • Using precision tools such as CMM, digital calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

What They're Looking For

  • Previous Quality Technician or QA/inspection experience.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100D, or AS9102 standards.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle high workloads.
  • Physically fit with good eyesight for visual inspection.
