Senior NPD Technologist

My client a successful food manufacturer in the Manchester area are seeking a Senior New Product Development (NPD) Technologist to support and deliver all new product launches and process development projects to strict timescales, within cost parameters, whilst ensuring the retailers expectations and quality is met.

Your New Role

• Work closely with other sites, and retailer commercial teams to deliver category plans
• Support site NPD process from concept, handover, pre production then launch
• Manage, develop and lead process development teams
• Accountability for spend within budget
• Awareness within product, category and market trends
• Implement a continuous improvement (CI) environment and culture

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Degree in food or and similar job-related experience
• Experience dealing with UK Reatlers
• Strong project management and management skills, keen to drive change, and bring the team with you
• Leadership, mentoring, development plans
• Commercial awareness

Role

• Days - Monday to Friday
• 8am-4pm with flexibility as needed for the business
• Salary dependant on experience
