Our client is looking for an experienced Stock Controller on a permanent basis

Hours of work are 7.30 am to 4.30am Monday to Friday (30 mins lunch break)

Some Overtime maybe required when needed

The Stock Controller duties will be to manage stock/inventory and the purchasing of materials and parts for the company.

Responsibility for tracking shipments both inbound and outbound and the overseeing of inventory monthly counts,spot counts,and cycle counting audits & producing count discrepancy reports

Maintaining reports of purchases and pricing and updating the Protean system accordingly

Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or similar role in a Stores/Warehouse environment is required

Good understanding of supply chain,stock control,warehouse processes and procedures

Working knowledge of inventory/Stock management systems/software(e.g Protean)

Active participation in inventory stock audits

Production of reports

Good IT skills-Excel,Word & Outlook

Oral/written communication skills

Literacy & numeracy skills

Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck is a desirable but not essential

Excellent Organisational skills

Good communication and time management skills

Team player

Rate of pay is £12.30 per hour
