About You To be considered as a Design Manager, you ll need: - To hold, preferably, a minimum qualification to degree level in an engineering discipline with 2 years experience in a similar role with a focus on power generation. OR - To hold an HND/C Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline with 3 years experience in a similar role with a focus on power generation. - To be a competent engineer with 2 years experience in power generation, process engineering, electrical distribution and building services, pipework and ventilation design, CDM and health & safety. - To have previous experience in successful technical management and development of Energy Projects. - To have proven ability to manage engineering design activities in a business environment with safety critical responsibility. - To have previous experience managing a team of Design Engineers. - To have strong resource planning skills. - To have effective IT skills and competent in Microsoft Office Packages and an understanding of AutoCAD or equivalent. - To hold a full, valid driving licence.
