Sales Team LeaderPermanentFull Time role, based on site37.5 hours per week2.30pm finish on a FridaySalary up to £35k pro rotaBased in BoltonMedlock Partners are partnering with a business recognised globally, who are looking for a Sales Team Leader, for full time hours, who can lead and manage a small sales team to achieve sales targets while at the same time delivering an expectational customer experience. The successful person will ideally have previous sales leadership experience, ability identify areas for individual improvement and thrive on achieve overall team sales targets. Key responsibilities of the Sales Team Leader:
- Lead the Sales team by giving clear target and customer service driven focus towards the achievement of the agreed monthly/annual sales and margin targets.
- Actively promote the brand by customer visits and regular telephone contact (both incoming and out-going calls) both to enhance existing and create new business.
- Ensure all team members produce accurate quotations/orders and follow procedures
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor the performance of ERP sales and work with operations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Research the market to identify potential new account customers, make appropriate approaches with a view to increasing the company customer base
- Create and sustain professional rapport with key accounts.
- Provide detailed annual/quarterly sales forecasts to the Finance and Production Teams.
- Carry out strategic planning and reviews for the Sales function in consultation with the Sales & Marketing Director
- Previous sales management experience within a parts industry
- Identifying area for new sales opportunities
- Assist with training and developing team members
- Ability to build and develop new and existing relationships
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Demonstrate strong resilience to achieve overall sales targets
- Strong sales forecast and reporting experience
