We are now looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to cover a national territory with a Northwest base, although for the right candidate my client would consider any Uk location Your role is to target freight forwarding business opportunities nationally, selling all aspects of freight and logistics services but in the main sea freight forwarding services From pipeline creation and management from lead generation through to closing of business, account management, with responsibility for fully utilising all aspects of the CRM system, Salesforce. You will handle all aspects of the sales cycle In order to apply for this role, you will have a proven track record selling Freight Forwarding services and in particular sea freight imports and exports.You will have excellent negotiation and closing skills, outstanding communication skills, ability to interact at all levels, sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities.
