Position: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Astley Area

Kenect Recruitment is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work for contracts in the Astley area. Our client is committed to providing year-round work for reliable drivers. The work is local deliveries and collections.

Must have 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day work available starting between 5 and 6 am starts
• Follow planned routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with friendly transport teams that prioritize employee welfare.

Shift Options:

• Day shifts available.
• Ongoing bookings throughout the year
• Weekly ongoing work
• Opportunities for long hours

Compensation:

• Competitive pay rates for PAYE drivers, Starting from 16 per hour.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 Licence
• CPC certification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No major points or endorsements on driving record
• Strong timekeeping skills
• Excellent work ethic and team player mentality
• Flexibility when required
• Checkable work history
