Job Title: PSV TechnicianLocation: ManchesterSalary: 45,000 - 50,000 per yearWe are seeking an experienced PSV Technician to join our team in Manchester. If you have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and are passionate about working on passenger service vehicles, this is the ideal opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on passenger service vehicles (PSVs).
  • Diagnose and repair faults across a range of systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and air conditioning.
  • Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and time spent.
  • Carry out MOT preparation and ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards.
  • Work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the fleet remains operational.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a PSV Technician or in a similar role working with buses, coaches, or large vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferably with a D category).
