ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
BOLTON
UP TO £28K DOE
FULL TIME
We are working with this market leading manufacturing business in the Bolton area who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Main responsibilities:
- Purchase ledger; matching, batching, coding and reconciling invoices
- Sales ledger; raising sales invoices, logging and chasing payments
- Preparing payment runs and processing through the banking system
- Monthly completion of sub contractor Tax returns
- Running credit checks
- Preparing journal entries using Sage
- Supporting with management accounts; month, quarter and year-end
- Managing and reconciling petty cash
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of all round accounts functions, preferably used the Sage system, ability to produce spreadsheets using Excel, strong communication skills with a polite and pleasant demeanour, excellent attention to detail and be well organised and focussed.
