My client are a property management company based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this is an excellent opportunity with a growing business who can offer fantastic scope for development and progression. As a Service Charge Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of client service charge accounts for a portfolio of properties. This will include producing annual service charge accounts working with key stakeholders and the external accountant, producing service charge reporting on a quarterly basis with variance analysis, billing of new annual budgets and balancing of charges post end of year accounts production, as well as business partnering with property managers ad various other staff across the organisation. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in service charge accounting, or alternatively accounting in a property environment using the system Cube. Good communication skills are essential in order to business partner effectively with various key stakeholders across the business. The salary on offer is paying up to £40,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working.
