As an Electrician (EML s) your main responsibilities will be:

  • Install and maintain emergency lighting systems
  • Fit lighting circuits, spurs, key switches, and smoke detection units
  • Conduct electrical fault finding, testing, and inspection
  • Complete job sheets and certification using electronic devices
  • Collaborate with scheduling and support teams
  • Follow safe working practices and ensure works meet quality and compliance standards
  • Engage respectfully with tenants and clients onsite

As an Electrician (EML s your knowledge and experience will be:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent
  • BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition earlier editions also considered)
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
  • Strong fault-finding and testing skills
  • Experience in domestic or social housing environments
  • Confident using PDAs or job management systems
  • A professional, team-oriented approach with good communication skills
