Job Title: Multi-Skilled Joiner (Permanent) Location: Manchester Salary: 33,275 per annum Hours: 38 hours per week

Working Pattern:

• Week 1: 08:00 - 16:15 (Monday to Friday)

• Week 2: 10:00 - 18:00 (Monday to Friday)

• Fridays finish 45 minutes earlier on both shifts

We are currently recruiting for a dependable and experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a well-established housing association in Salford on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team, providing essential maintenance and repairs to a variety of domestic properties, including both occupied and vacant homes.

• Undertake a broad range of joinery tasks including fitting doors, frames, skirting boards, kitchen units, windows, and locks.

• Carry out minor multi-trade work such as basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and general property repairs.

• Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance in line with allocated work orders.

• Work independently in occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

• Uphold high standards of workmanship while complying with all health and safety procedures.

• Use a PDA or mobile device to receive tasks and log progress/completions.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery.

• Relevant experience in domestic property maintenance, ideally within social housing.

• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.

• Asbestos Awareness certificate - desirable.

• Strong ability to manage workloads independently and problem-solve on the job.

• Good working knowledge of health and safety standards in a residential maintenance environment.
