Partner - Building Surveying, Manchester

For senior building surveyors with the ambition to lead, this opportunity offers the platform to build and shape a business of your own within one of the UK's most respected property consultancies. With over 500 professionals across multiple offices, the firm has invested heavily in its built environment services, where building surveying now represents a core contributor to turnover and profit.

Manchester is the next stage of growth. The practice has already established a highly regarded project management team in the city and is now seeking to appoint a Partner to create and lead a complementary building surveying offer. The mandate is clear: establish a team, build a market presence, and work alongside colleagues across the business to deliver a first-class service to institutional investors, developers, landlords, and occupiers.

This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. It is designed for a commercially minded building surveyor with the credibility, network, and drive to win work, attract talent, and deliver growth. Full strategic backing is in place from the partnership, along with the freedom to shape the service line in Manchester.

Applicants will be chartered building surveyors (MRICS) with significant post-qualification experience and a proven record of client development and team leadership. Strong networks within the North West market are advantageous, though not essential, provided there is a demonstrable track record of building and sustaining profitable client relationships.

The package reflects the seniority of the role, with a base salary in excess of £100,000, performance-related bonus, car allowance, healthcare, and an 8% contributory pension scheme. There is also a clearly defined pathway to equity partnership.

This is a rare chance to join at Partner level with the remit to create something new, backed by the strength and resources of an established national consultancy.
