To be considered for this role you will live in a commutable distance to our Manchester City Centre office.

What will you be doing?

As a Quantity Surveyor for BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the Commercial Administration and Management of assigned Contracts.

Leading by example, you will encourage positive contract management and commercial behaviours throughout the operational delivery teams leading to ongoing improvements in delivery performance and profitability.

Some of your other responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the Application for Payment and Invoicing processes for allocated contracts, supporting timely submissions in line with client expectations and ensuring that all fees are agreed quickly and any issues are dealt with promptly.
• Identifying project change control, contract management and risk mitigation with colleagues, contractors and suppliers
• Ensuring the accuracy of pricing and costing of annual contract work banks, and any additional works associated with the contract including the application of SoRs against asset descriptors
• Maximise strategic supply chain value through structured procurement processes and ongoing supplier engagement
• Where appropriate, providing insight for customers and the wider Infrastructure industry about the BES Group, our services and our customer obsession, identifying opportunities for growth.

To join our team, you will need:

• Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Business Management, Quantity Surveying or Finance
• Substantive experience in Finance, Commercial or Contract Management at a Management Level
• Experience managing commercial contracts with a minimum £1M commercial responsibility
• Knowledge of Commercial Contracts and NEC and ICE Forms of contracts
• UK Driving licence
