My client are a leading tier 1 construction contractor with an excellent reputation within the industry. They operate across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and more, with projects ranging from large-scale developments to smaller schemes.

They are now recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join their team and work on major projects across the Manchester area, valued at over 20m

As the Senior Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall lead on all estimating functions.
  • Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
  • Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
  • Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
  • Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
