Salary: £55,000+ dependent on experience

The Role
The Head of Belonging, Communications, and Culture is a key opportunity to drive the cultural landscape of this unique organisation. This role offers the chance to influence positive change, foster an inclusive environment, and build a strong sense of community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) strategy that aligns with the organisation s mission, purpose, and strategic goals.
- Provide strategic direction to senior leadership on DEIB initiatives, ensuring integration into all organisational practices.
- Lead culture-building initiatives that promote diversity, inclusivity, and engagement across the organisation.
External Networks and Partnerships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including diversity-focused organisations, academic institutions, and community groups, in collaboration with the Student Recruitment and Partnerships teams.
Communications:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that effectively convey DEIB and cultural initiatives to staff, in collaboration with the Leadership and Senior Leadership teams, including enabling internal communication channels.
Culture and Engagement:
- Lead efforts to maintain an inclusive organisational culture that values diversity and fosters employee engagement.
Skills & Qualification
Essential Criteria:
- DEIB Qualification (e.g., Managing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Level 5) or equivalent experience supported by relevant courses.
- Demonstrable experience in a DEIB role providing thought leadership within organisations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEIB and cultural strategies.
- Experience in delivering effective communication plans that engage diverse audiences.
