The school is committed to providing a nurturing and structured environment where every child can achieve their full potential through personalised learning and therapeutic support.Your New RoleWe are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a dedicated team supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, autism, and behavioural challenges. This full-time role involves planning and delivering differentiated lessons to small groups of primary-aged pupils, using a trauma-informed approach and working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN strategies and be confident managing challenging behaviour in a positive and proactive way.What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not suitable for ECTs
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and autism
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Hays
