Are you an experienced and resilient Primary Teacher with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic SEMH Primary Teacher to join our specialist team supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and extremely challenging behaviour.

Our pupils may have experienced trauma, exclusion, or disrupted education, and need a teacher who can bring consistency, empathy, and creativity to their learning.
The RolePlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons within a primary curriculum adapted to meet SEMH needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional regulation, resilience, and self-esteem.
Work closely with a skilled multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and behaviour specialists.
Use de-escalation strategies and restorative approaches to manage behaviour and support pupil progress.
Maintain accurate records, contribute to EHCP reviews, and communicate effectively with parents and external agencies.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching pupils with SEMH or complex behavioural needs (mainstream or specialist setting).
A calm, reflective, and solution-focused approach under pressure.
Strong commitment to inclusion and child-centred practice.
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
A highly supportive and collaborative staff team.
