Join Piper Hill School after half term We are looking for a long term, full time teacher to start on the 3rd November, to join a vibrant and inclusive special educational needs school committed to making a difference in the lives of young people with Special educational needs.
As a teacher at Piper Hill, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for pupils aged with a range of learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and social, emotional or mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored, engaging lessons in line with EHCP targets

Build strong relationships with pupils using positive behaviour strategies

Work collaboratively with a skilled team of support staff and therapists

Maintain a calm and consistent classroom environment

Be flexible and adaptable to meet the varied needs of our learners
We re looking for teachers who are:

Experienced in working with children and young people with behaviours that can challenge
-
Confident in using de-escalation techniques and restorative practices
-
Flexible, patient, and emotionally resilient
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
