A friendly and inclusive primary school in Burnage, South Manchester, is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This role is available for an immediate start and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will provide general classroom support across Key Stage 1, assisting teachers with lessons, small-group activities, and supporting children's social and emotional development. They will work as part of a collaborative and caring team, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children in a primary school, preferably Key Stage 1
  • Patient, proactive, and enthusiastic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Have previous experience supporting pupils on a 1-1 basis
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
