Key Responsibilities

• Early Years Support: Assist in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and play-based learning activities.

• Child Development: Support children's personal, social, and emotional development in line with the EYFS framework.

• Observation & Assessment: Record and monitor children's progress, contributing to learning journals and reports.

• Learning Environment: Help maintain an organised, safe, and inclusive classroom setting.

• 1:1 and Group Work: Provide support for individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child's needs.

• Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure the well-being of all pupils.

• Position: Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant

• Contract Type: Long-term (ongoing)

• Start Date: November 2025

• Hours: Full-time, 8:20 AM - 3:45 PM

• Rate of Pay: From 95.29 per day

• Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).

• Experience: Minimum of 12 weeks supporting children in an Early Years or primary setting.

• Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided).

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Two professional references from educational settings

• Free access to CPD courses, including EYFS and safeguarding training.

• Ongoing support from Prospero Teaching's Training and Development Team.
