Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm

About the role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Manchester area. Whether you are starting a career as a Teaching Assistant or have past experience, we would love to hear from you!

Your duties will include but not limited to; Assisting the class teacher with getting the classroom ready for the lessons ahead, managing behaviour, provide 1:1 and small group support to help children access learning and achieve their potential and work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress.

A Teaching Assistant KS1 requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
  • Required to have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Inspirational role model who is highly motivated and reliable
  • Confident in working with children on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Able to commute to Manchester
  • Able to provide an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to put one into process
