Are you an experience Year 6 Teacher looking for your next challenge? Tradewind is searching for a Year 6 Teacher for maternity cover post. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching Upper Key Stage 2 pupils. The ideal candidate will:

Where: Manchester

Class: Year 6

When: January 2025 - August 2025

Shift pattern: Full time, maternity cover

Pay: 130 - 190 per day (dependant on experience, could be higher)

Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum and the school's creative approach
  • Scaffold age-appropriate learning to ensure every child's success
  • Keep up-to-date data records and identify learning gaps to maintain high levels of attainment
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils
  • Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants, key stage teams, and other staff to share resources and best practices

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong references showcasing previous teaching experience
  • A full employment history on your CV
  • Right to work in the UK

All candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and must provide suitable references.
