I am currently working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are looking to hire an experienced sub agent due to a number of new contracts being awarded.
Sub Agent Responsibilities:
- Management of subcontractors
- Ensure that inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements for the control of the works are reviewed, approved, and adhered to.
- Management of health and safety.
- Managing the engineering team.
- Daily record keeping and briefings
- Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.
- Site supervisor requirements:
Site Agent Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- CSCS card - Gold/Black.
- SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience within the civil engineering sector ideally water based.
- Strong communication skills.
